Script Evaluations

This service is offered to writers looking for dramaturgical feedback on their work and help with the development of their plays. Writers receive a comprehensive and in-depth evaluation of their play, covering all dramatic elements of the given script including: plot, theme, structure, use of theatricality, character development, dialogue, use of action, etc.

Additionally, writers will be given specific, actionable notes on their piece, focused on helping playwrights find and/or hone the heart of their story. Script Evaluations are delivered either by Zoom or phone, during which time I speak with writers one-on-one, providing them with page-by-page notes exploring the specifics of their work.

Pricing

Pricing options are based on length of a given work, with separate prices offered for short works, one acts, and full lengths. Please see the chart below for pricing options.

Terms & Conditions

• Pricing for Script Evaluations is determined by number of pages. (See above). For work that exceeds 103 pages, Ean will contact the playwright to discuss an individualized price model. Cost will be proportional to the length of the submitted script.

• All Script Evaluation must be used within 1 calendar year of purchase. If one calendar year lapses before a Script Evaluation is used, the writer must purchase an additional Script Evaluation. The same terms apply to the additional Script Evaluation.

• All Script Evaluations will be completed within 30 calendar days of purchase.

• All Script Evaluations will be done via phone or Zoom. A separate price is available for those who want written Script Evaluations.
